long story short,
I suck at drawing and want to get better. problem is I have no motivation and have no idea what to draw. So I'll you have to do is request something (hopefully) simple for a shit head like me to do and I'll try my best at it and hopefully, slowly improve.

what I do.

Do what I did to improve: Try directly copying portraits of your favourite characters from movies or video-games. Develop your own technique and style. Once you've done this enough, it will become natural to draw people / things / whatever you apply this to.
yeah most of the time I'll keep a reference handy while I'm trying to draw but finding a style can be hard because I don't really want to get stuck in just one forever. Also I feel as if tracing is cheating but I might do it some more just to get better.
It can help if you draw something unaided, and then trace it. You can compare them and find recurring mistakes such as incorrect angles, lack of proportion, etc.
